Last Week

Whippppy!!! I shouted as I was getting ready for the kids festival around the G.I center,my Sister and I were so excited we kept telling our mum to hurry up to take us now but then she told us to “wait we will go later on”, when I was waiting I stopped and started thinking that I’m going to go to the beach because it started to get boring after a while.

There I went down to the beach holding my togs, and towel walking with my Cousin until we stumbled upon sand leading to the beach so the first thing we did when we got there we got changed and went into the crazy cold sea water,but in the water when we saw this big rock we kept jumping off until I thought it would be fun if we keep pushing each-other off It.

After all that fun we started to get bored so we got changed and I texted my Mum to come and get us at the beach,after we got changed we saw her zooming down on the car to pick us up,I told her to take my Cousin and me to the G.I center for the kids festival,as we got dropped off we saw my Auntie waiting for us at the swings with my Cousins little brother Cassius.

When It started to get late I heard music coming from the stage nearby so I was listening then I heard a cool song come from the stage when until I saw this lady dancing to It when it was later on we were all tired so I asked my Auntie if we can go home,as soon as we got home we all went to bed to get some rest,I thought on that day I was thinking that it was the best day I ever had so far and I hope they will have it again but better than the last one.

Hi my name is Joseph Peini and I am twelve years old and I am a year eight student working with some year seven students my favourite games I like playing with my friends at are Bull rush, manhunt and rugby my favourite things I like to do at home is to play games or go on my Mums computer but when my cousins come over we go to the pools at Waiwera nearly all the times.

I was born in the Auckland Hospital on may the 22nd my mums name is Kim and my dads name is Sifa and my sisters name is Senolita, the subjects at school I like to do are writing and reading, the sports I like playing is Softball, rugby and league my favourite league teams are Broncos, west tigers and the Warriors but I think the biggest league fans in my family would be my uncles and my aunties.


My sister and I Ethnic groups are part Maori and part Tongan my grandparents were born on farms my Nana had four kids the oldest kids out of them would be my uncle Henare and my auntie Marcel my Mum and my uncle Hemi are the youngest ones in our family my Papas name is James Hooper and my Nana's name is Corina Roberts.

Christmas holiday up North...

This year I went to my Aunties house up North, while up there we had a Christmas party the thing we bought for the party were meat, sausages, and patties to put on the BBQ and we bought some soda’s and some chips and dips plus we played games on my Cousins PS3,the thing I liked there were the food, then the next day we all went for a swim at the pools.

At the pools me my Cousin went jumping of the diving pool it was a lot of fun but then it started to get boring!!, for some reason my Auntie went some where and we didn’t know were she went but when she came in we saw her with some Hot chips with fish and hot-dog after that we went back in after 10 minutes.

After that we went home and got into bed because it started to get darker then the next day we had to say good by until something was wrong with our van then she said we can stay one more day until we get a new battery so from the day on we just played Games all day then then it was time to go now so we said by then we went home.

Joseph's NetBook Highlights

There are many reasons why I like my Netbook, I like having my Netbook to work on because it is much faster to search things and look for how to under stand words and when Obama was the precedent . You can play games on it and go on Youtube to watch famous singers even see all different stuff you can find in the world. And the coolest thing about our network devices is that we can search for ancient artifacts and where to find Greek gods and how they became the strongest.

As much as I have loved having a Netbook there are some things that I haven’t liked about it and one of thous would be charging it all the time and always waiting for the Netbook to load every time I go on a site.But the worst thing I hate is when I’m writing because it would always say trying to reach google which is always annoying but the worst thing I hate about My netbook is the Internet because it will start slowing down. When I try to search stuff up online my Internet device would go slow and it will give me an option to kill pages or wait for it to load again I hate it when it does that because I have to restart the program all over again until it works.

You can delete errors in your writing instead of using a rubber to edit your work.you are able to search up words on the Internet without looking on a dictionary.it is easier to write on our Internet devices instead of using a pencil.I like doing all my work in google docs because it makes my work much neater.

The greatest challenge for me is focusing on my work when I’m around my friends but the worst thing I struggle with is looking on my work instead I sometimes stare or daydream out the window but when time pasted I started to learn and finish all my work and focus on them.

Greek God (Ares)

Mars was the Roman God of war and also an agricultural guardian. In Greek legend Mars is also known as Ares. He was the son of Jupiter and Juno, and he was the most outstanding of the military gods worshipped by the Roman legions.

His festivals were held in March, the month named for him, and in October, which began and ended the season for military campaigning and farming.

Mars represented military power as a way to secure peace, and was a father of the Roman people.

When Ares is shown in a picture he is always wearing armor, spear and shield. He is also represented by the wolf.
